Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

In my quest to see amazing infinity pools around the world, the one at Marina Bay Sands was at the top of my list. It is the world's largest rooftop infinity pool and 57 levels above ground. The views of the city skyline from the rooftop infinity pool were impressive. The pool does have a separate "no kids" section, which was great. The pool was very crowded with guests at certain times of the day, but there were times around lunch time when it was less crowded. The sunsets from the pool were incredible, especially on a cloudy day with all shades of pink, orange, and purple--the prettiest skies!

I stayed in a room with a city view (not garden view). The floor-to-ceiling windows give you a nice panoramic view of the skyline. In the evening, the city lights up right before your eyes.

During the day, make sure to take a stroll around Gardens by the Bay, where you can view the amazing super tree grove, the cloud forest, and the flower dome. The iconic Supertrees are a canopy of tree-shaped monuments connected by an aerial walkway (OCBC Skyway). Make sure to go there at night time to view the spectacular light show of the Supertrees. During certain times of the year, the conservatory Flower Dome contains an amazing collection of tulips. The Cloud Forest is a conservatory of tropical rain forest vegetation with aerial walkways. The hotel also contains a casino and a mall with many restaurant options, such as Osteria Mozza and Din Tai Fung, along with designer stores like Chanel, Cartier, and Louis Vuitton.

For a different view of the bay, I also spent two nights at the Ritz Carlton, Millenia. From my room, the views of the bay and of Marina Bay Sands hotel were amazing. To read more, check out my blog post on the Ritz Carlton, Millenia.
